This guide will provide you with information on our BFT motor range & its accessories such as pedestrian sensors, keypads, and more. BFT is an Italian-made brand that focuses on new-generation technologies and advanced solutions yet simple, accessible and user friendly.
Sliding Gate Motors
DEIMOS Series
BFT Deimos series are available for Residential or low traffic areas with weight capacity up to 400KG & 600KG; available in Basic or Ultra models.
- Kit are supplied with 4x 1m gear racks and 2 remotes.
Basic models are remote operated only unless used with external accessories.
Ultra models are remote operated with an optional WIFI chip in order to operate the motors using a mobile app. External accessories can be used to extend its function.
ARES Series
BFT Ares series are available for Business or high traffic areas with weight capacity up to 1000KG; available in Basic or Ultra models.
- Kit are supplied with 4x 1m gear racks and 2 remotes.
Basic models are remote operated only unless used with external accessories.
Ultra models are remote operated with an optional WIFI chip in order to operate the motors using a mobile app. External accessories can be used to extend its function.
ICARO Series
BFT Icaro series are available for Business or high traffic areas with weight capacity up to 2000KG; available in Smart or Ultra models.
- Kit supplied with 4x 1m gear racks and 2 remotes.
Both Smart & Ultra models are remote operated with an optional WIFI chip in order to operate using your mobile app. External accessories can be used to extend its function.
Ultra has a higher IP protection rating.
Swing Gate Motors
VIRGO Series
BFT Virgo series are available for Residential or low traffic areas with weight capacity up to 200KG; available in Single or Double kits.
- Double kit supplied with 2x remotes.
KUSTOS Series
BFT Kustos series are available for Residential or medium traffic areas with weight capacity up to 400-500KG; Available in Single or Double kits.
- Double kit supplied with 2x remotes, a control box and brackets.
PHOBOS Series
BFT Phobos series are available for Business or high density areas with weight capacity up to 400-500KG; available in Single or Double kits.
- Double kit supplied with 2x remotes, a control box and brackets.
Motor Accessories
Gear Racks
Gear racks are available separately or supplied together with sliding gate kits. With the connector joiners either end, line up and cut to desired lengths.
Reverse/upside down lugs and solid metal racks also available,
Mitto Remotes
Mitto is a BFT branded remote for sliding and swing gate motors. Available in 2 or 4 button configuration, each button operates a single function. If you need multiple people to have access to an area often, consider using a keypad for access.
Two remotes are provided in each motor kit.
Pedestrian Sensors
Sliding and swing gate motors can function without sensors, however it is suggested for safety to avoid mishaps such as collisions with children, persons, vehicles, and other objects.
Keypads
An alternative to remotes, keypads allow multiple people to have access conveniently.
Our wired keypads can be used together with electric strikers, Sliding & Swing gate motors.
Wireless keypads are also available which only works with BFT Sliding & Swing gate motors.
Expansion Modules
Ultra model Sliding & Swing gate motors can have their functions expanded by installing expansion modules.
WIFI Module - As the names suggest, it adds a WIFI feature to the attached motor. This enables remote control of the gate using your phone (from anywhere!).
LINK Module - This module enables the connection and operation of several motors. In the case of two sliding gates, for example, your remote is linked to one of the primary motors, and the second motor just follows the queue.
Warning Light
A warning/hazard light is an effective model to alert those in the surrounding area that the gate is in use, and it is suitable for both residential and commercial buildings. It also functions as a remote range extender.
Solar Kit
Solar panels and battery packs are available as a package for places without access to a direct power source. (For example, if you are unable to draw power or run wiring from the house).
A single kit is suitable for domestic use, but additional solar panels and batteries may be required for more commercial or frequent use.
Backup Battery
In the event of a power outage or loss, backup batteries are available. Motors can also be operated manually after being unlocked using the supplied keys.
